Originally hailing from Gladstone in Queensland, Nick graduated from James Cook University in Townsville in 2003 after completion of his Bachelor of Laws. Following graduation he worked with a firm in the Cairns CBD, practising exclusively in family law. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in April 2005 and to the High Court of Australia in May 2005.
Between 2006 and 2008 Nick pursued his passion for travel, travelling the globe and enjoying working holidays in both Canada and Denmark.
In January 2009 , after returning to Australia, Nick relocated to Perth to work with a specialist family law firm in the Perth CBD. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in February 2009.
Nick joined Klimek & Co Family Lawyers in January 2011 and practises in all areas of family law, including divorce, financial and children's matters as well as violence and misconduct restraining order matters.
Outside of his work, Nick continues to enjoy travel both domestic and international. He also enjoys photography, participating in social sport, supporting the North Queensland Cowboys, attending live music events and experiencing the fruits of the various wine regions here in Western Australia.
