Prior to joining Klimek & Co Family Lawyers, Rishi practised Family Law and Estate matters in a busy suburban practice, then in the Community Legal Centre industry where he assisted numerous clients through community legal centres in Perth, Joondalup, Midland and Armadale.
He has practised in family law for the duration of his legal career, as well as testamentary and restraining orders matters.
At Klimek & Co Family Lawyers, Rishi has been responsible for a range of matters from relatively uncomplicated financial and children's matters through to complex matters that have proceeded to trial in the Family Court of Western Australia.
Rishi has extensive experience in financial matters including property settlement, binding financial agreements, child support agreements and spousal maintenance. He frequently acts for clients whose matters involve complex financial issues and in child related matters involving relocation, recovery orders, domestic violence and child abuse. Rishi also acts for clients in relation to violence and misconduct restraining orders in the various Magistrates Court in Western Australia.
Rishi is a member of the Family Law Practitioners' Association of Western Australia.
Outside the practice of family law, Rishi is a keen all-round sportsman, with particular interest in basketball and cricket. He enjoys travel and spending time with his family and friends.
